PE Clothing 2021/2022
It is important that children dress appropriately for PE so that they are safe and able to complete the full range of activities. In order to best keep children and staff safe at school whilst Covid-19 is still a threat, we are asking that children come to school in their PE clothes on the days they have PE to avoid having to get changed.
PE will be taking places outside as much as possible, on the field and on our astro-turf. Therefore we recommend that on their PE day, children wear: tracksuit bottoms, jogging bottoms or leggings; a t-shirt; a jumper in case it is a cool day; trainers (outside) and pumps in a bag (inside). Please also remember that children must remove any jewellery to take part in PE.
For Years 5 and 6, children should bring their swimming trunks / costume and a towel, with goggles if they prefer. We encourage all pupils to partake as it is part of the curriculum. Children should bring their swimming kit in a bag and wear their uniform when arriving at school.
PE will take place on the following days:
Reception – Wednesday
Y1/2 Miss Guest – Monday
Y1/2 Miss Richards – Tuesday
Y1/2 Miss Wilkes – Wednesday
Y3/4 Mrs Capewell – Friday
Y5/6 Mrs Baker – Thursday (Swimming)
Y5/6 Mrs Reed – Friday (Swimming)
