For World Book Day yesterday, the children and staff of Salisbury had a wonderful time dressing up as their favourite book characters! The children completed some really exciting tasks throughout the day: decorating a potato as their favourite character (thank you to parents for joining us for this!); a ‘Where’s Wally?’ competition, where we had to find him as many times as possible around the school; paired reading with children in different year groups; and story time with our class teacher in our library. It was a fun-packed day which everybody really enjoyed, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year – thank you to Mrs Bayley (AKA Gangsta Granny) for her super organisational skills, and to everybody for taking part!
